Those of you that have been around the Whiskery Kitten family for a while know that I love to foster dogs and cats for various rescue organizations. I have been on a 'foster sabbatical' over the last eight months since little Noah came into being. Well, I have a dear friend that fosters for our local pug rescue and the pug rescue recently received a pure bred mother pug and her six babies that seem to be mixed with beagle. Puggles! My friend sent me some pictures... she knows me SO well... and wondered if I might be able to take two puppies "temporarily" - ha! ha! - until they are old enough to be spayed.
I picked them up this morning... OH MY GOODNESS! I AM SO IN LOVE!!!!
I am not at all sure these babies are going anywhere at all. They may be home for good... which happens a lot when I foster animals. In fact, all of our current dogs and cat just never left once they came to my house "temporarily"! They are 12 weeks old and weigh just four pounds. Did I mention how cute they are?
Oh, and did I mention that I am IN LOVE
???? Puppy breath! It's the best, second only to the smell of a newborn baby's head... another smell I am looking forward to very soon!
