One month old today!!

My tiny newborn baby boy is growing right before my eyes! Today he is one month old. He's smiling at us every day, he loves to watch his mobile go around and around, he adores listening to the children play the piano and he can lift his head like a pro! He is sleeping less and is alert and happy more and more hours of the day. (and night!) My baby is growing up! He's getting a double chin, is outgrowing some of his tiniest outfits and no longer enjoys being swaddled. I can't believe the changes I'm seeing in him. The newborn stage is fleeting... and ours is fleeting right on by. But, it is a joy to see those toothless grins when I'm talking to him and to know that he is recognizing me. It's a joy to watch his eyes track around those funny bright colored animals on his mobile and to see him settle down and listen when some wonderful classical music - which he had quite a lot of exposure to in utero! - is being played on the piano. He is learning... even at this young age and that is a joy and a delight!

Having a one month old baby is a priceless treasure and I'm not going to waste a single moment of it!
